MATHEMATICS DAY CELEBRATION
Classes I and II enthusiastically celebrated Mathematics Day on Saturday, 21December 2024, with an array of engaging activities designed to spark their interest in numbers and shapes. Students of Class I brought vibrant, handmade props in the shapes of circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, and more. Each child confidently presented their prop, sharing interesting facts and discussing the properties of their chosen shape.
Class II students showcased their creativity by crafting beautiful, functional clocks. Guided by their teachers, they learned to assemble clock faces, mark the hours, and position the hour and minute hands. Through interactive exercises, they practiced reading and setting time on their handmade clocks. This activity served as a fun and effective way to reinforce the concept of time-telling, combining art and mathematics seamlessly.
