“Road Safety: A Step Towards a Safer Tomorrow”
A workshop on road safety was organised for Class VIII students, MTS staff, and school bus drivers on Tuesday, 24 December 2024, in collaboration with TRAX (Road safety NGO) and Delhi Traffic Police. The session aimed to raise awareness about road safety measures and prevent road accidents.
The resource persons highlighted the major causes of road crashes, such as drinking and driving, using mobile phones while driving, and not wearing helmets. Practical road safety tips, including how to walk safely on roads, were also shared.
A short skit vividly depicted the hazards of violating traffic rules, leaving a strong impression on the audience. Important topics such as the Good Samaritan Law and the significance of the Golden Hour during accidents were explained in detail.
The workshop concluded with a motivational song highlighting road safety. Students participated enthusiastically, making the workshop an engaging and impactful experience for all attendees.
