RIDS SCIENCE EVENT
Science Department organised the RIDs Science event on Wastewater Management on Wednesday, 18 December 2024, in the school premises to raise awareness about sustainable water practices. The program began with a melodious Nature Anthem by students, setting an inspiring tone for the day.
Honourable Principal ma’am Capt. Richa Sharma Katyal delivered an insightful welcome address, emphasising the importance of the event. The gracious presence of the Vice Principal and Headmistress ma’am added encouragement and motivation.
The Student Showcase was the highlight, featuring a thought-provoking documentary on wastewater management, a poignant poem recitation on water conservation, and a vibrant Nukkad Natak that delivered impactful messages through lively performances.
A PowerPoint presentation titled ‘River Beyond Borders’ emphasised the global significance of wastewater management and the interconnectedness of communities through rivers. Additionally, a Gallery Walk showcased innovative projects, charts, and posters by students, leaving attendees captivated.
The event concluded with a feedback session, gathering valuable insights for future initiatives. In her closing remarks, the anchor underscored the importance of collective action to manage wastewater responsibly.
The program was a resounding success, reflecting the dedication of students and staff toward environmental stewardship and inspiring all participants to take meaningful action.
