Achiever’s Day

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar was filled with excitement as the ‘Achievers’ Day’ programme unfolded on 11 September 2024. This prestigious event honored the exceptional accomplishments of the school’s talented students in academics and sports during the 2023-2024 academic year.


The event was graced by esteemed Chief Guest Shri. Surya P. Sethi, Vice President International Association of Energy Economists, India., distinguished guest Dr. Kushagra Tiwari, Clinical Assistant, Metro hospital, Maj Gen Ajay Khandpur, VSM (Retd) Director SPS MV, Capt Richa Sharma Katyal (Retd), Principal SPS MV, Smt. Bhawna Puri, Vice Principal, SPS MV, and Smt. Sheetal Kapoor Sethi, Headmistress SPS MV along with esteemed PTA members, teachers, proud parents, and the brilliant achievers.


The event commenced with an inspiring address by Capt Richa Sharma Katyal (Retd),  School Principal, who highlighted the significance of perseverance in the journey toward success. The atmosphere was further energised by a vibrant dance performance by the students, emphasising the value of literacy and determination. This was followed by a motivational talk show centered on the lives of famous personalities from different fields offering valuable lessons on resilience and hard work. The distinguished guests later presented awards to the outstanding achievers of the school for their academic and sports achievements at the Zonal, State and National level. The school not only felicitated its students but also acknowledge Smt. Pooja Dhingra, Head of the IT Department who received the Rajya Shikshak Puraskar 2024 by Delhi Government.


To conclude the eventful day, students expressed their heartfelt thanks to all participants, PTA members, parents and volunteers whose support was instrumental in making the ‘Achievers Day Ceremony’ a resounding success. The ceremony left a lasting impression on the young minds instilling a sense of pride and motivation among them.
