A COLLABORATIVE INITIATIVE BY MAHATTATTVA AND SAMSUNG TO EMPOWER EDUCATORS

A session was organized at GD Goenka School, Gurugram, aimed to familiarize the education community with an innovative educational program introduced by Samsung. This program envisions educators as key changemakers in the 21st-century classroom and focuses on equipping them with tools and strategies to achieve sustainable classroom transformation.

Objectives of the Program:

1. To empower educators with cutting-edge technology and skills for enhanced teaching outcomes.
2. To provide professional development opportunities and build digital leadership capabilities.
3. To create a national network of educators to share ideas, overcome challenges, and devise solutions collaboratively.

The session was led by Ms. Deepti Sawhney, CEO and Founder of Mahattattva, who shared her expertise and insights on the transformative potential of education technology and strategies for sustainable classroom transformation.

Participants were introduced to a series of upcoming online training sessions designed to develop their proficiency in integrating technology and innovation into education. The training series includes:

1. Design-Thinking for Envisioning AI Landscape in Education

2. Digital Leadership in Schools

• Date: January 10, 2025
• Time: 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

3. Teaching, Learning, and Assessing Using AI

Educators were informed that they could nominate additional participants from their schools to join these training sessions. Upon successful completion of the program, all participants will receive certificates of training.

Session Activities and Outcomes:

The session concluded with engaging icebreaker activities that fostered interaction and collaboration among participants. This added an element of fun while reinforcing the objectives of the program.
