Together for Earth’…A Musical Play

On the occasion of Graduation Day, students of Class Nursery, Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar presented a musical play ‘Together for Earth’ on Tuesday, 18 March 2025. Parents and grandparents attended the event. The event was graced by the presence of Shri Bharat Salhotra, Chairman of SPSMV. He addressed the gathering, inspiring a spirit of passion and innovation in sustainability while inviting parents to contribute their ideas towards the same. In the welcome address Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, the SPSMV Principal, emphasised the importance of environmental conservation, urging everyone to take proactive steps, as even small efforts can lead to meaningful change

The highlight of the day, the play was aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 15, ‘Life on Land’, highlighting the critical importance of forest conservation and wildlife protection. Students brought Disney characters to life, portraying the impact of deforestation and habitat destruction on animals. Through their performances, they highlighted essential actions like tree planting, waste management and adopting eco-friendly practices. The performances left the audience with a renewed sense of responsibility to contribute towards a greener and more sustainable planet.
