TRIP TO AMRIT UDYAN

On 04 February 2025, 26 students of Class 9, accompanied by Ms Monia Saini and Ms Shalini Raheja, visited Amrit Udyan as part of an educational trip. The visit aimed to enhance student’s understanding of various plant species and foster a deeper appreciation for nature. They observed a wide variety of flora, including medicinal plants, rare flowers, bonsai and indigenous trees. The teachers provided valuable insights into the characteristics, ecological importance, and conservation efforts related to these plant species. Students actively participated in discussions, asked questions, and took notes on different plants.
They were particularly fascinated by the well-maintained thematic gardens, which showcased diverse biodiversity. The visit not only strengthened their theoretical knowledge but also instilled a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation. The trip concluded with a reflection session where students shared their key learnings and experiences. The visit to Amrit Udyan was an enriching and educational experience, aligning perfectly with the curriculum’s focus on environmental awareness. It inspired students to be more mindful of nature and the need for its preservation. Overall, the excursion was a success, making learning outside the classroom fun.
