INTER-CLASS FOLK DANCE COMPETITION
An Inter-Class Folk Dance Competition for students of Classes I and II was held on Wednesday, 16 October 2024, within the school premises. The event was a vibrant celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, with young students donning colourful and traditional costumes, enthusiastically performing folk dances from various regions across the country. Audience was treated to captivating performances representing the vibrant traditions of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Kerala.
The esteemed panel of judges—Smt. Peu Lahiri Roy, an experienced Dance Teacher, Smt. Reshma Das and Shri Manish Dua, Music Teachers with vast experience in the field—commended the participants for their exceptional talent, coordination, and dedication. The performances not only highlighted the beauty of Indian folk culture but also reflected the students’ hard work and passion. Winners were awarded merit certificates, and all participants were presented with participation certificates. Judges’ words of praise added to the enthusiasm, making the competition a memorable celebration of diversity, creativity, and young talent.
