At Salwan Public School Mayur Vihar, we believe that global exchange programmes are essential for fostering understanding and acceptance of diverse cultures and communities. These programmes provide our students with invaluable opportunities to broaden their perspectives by engaging in collaborative experiences with peers from around the world.
The concept of “Global Partnership” has become a core part of our ethos, carrying deep significance. Technological innovations such as the microchip have unlocked new possibilities, breaking down socio-economic and political barriers and introducing new value systems. This progress has redefined mindsets, creating a more interconnected and interdependent global community.
In the field of education, globalization has played a pivotal role in shaping professionals who possess entrepreneurial skills and a broad global outlook. At Salwan Public School, we encourage our students to blend traditional and contemporary perspectives, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate and thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Our school is committed to meeting international standards and has made considerable strides towards embracing globalisation. We have forged strong partnerships with prestigious organisations such as The British Council, the Reggio Emilia Institute in Italy, and Cambridge University. Our cultural exchange programmes extend to countries including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Dubai, the UK, Singapore, France, Germany, and West Africa. Notably, our sports teams have had the privilege of visiting Australia, further strengthening international relationships through athletic exchanges. Additionally, we are proud to have received the International School Award from The British Council four times, a testament to our dedication to global collaboration. These initiatives ensure that our students are not only aware of global issues but are also empowered with the knowledge and empathy to become proactive global citizens.
Furthermore, Salwan Public School places significant emphasis on Model United Nations (MUN), where students engage in debates on critical international issues. Through MUN, students gain confidence, refine their public speaking skills, and deepen their understanding of international relations. This experience fosters an appreciation for diplomacy, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration, equipping students with the critical thinking and leadership skills necessary to address complex global challenges. By participating in MUN, our students are empowered to become informed and responsible citizens, ready to confront the issues of tomorrow.
