DISASTER MANAGEMENT AWARENESS PROGRAM
On Friday, 06 December 2024, SPSMV hosted a Disaster Management Awareness Program aimed at promoting disaster preparedness and educating students about safety during emergencies. The program was designed to engage students from Nursery to XI, providing them with essential knowledge about various types of disasters, emergency rescue operations, and the significance of emergency symbols. The main goal was to equip students with the skills and awareness necessary to respond effectively and safely in the event of a disaster.
The activities conducted during the event were both interactive and educational, ensuring their suitability for participants of all age groups. Poster-making allowed students to creatively illustrate various types of disasters, enhancing their understanding. Additionally, worksheets were provided to reinforce key concepts related to disaster management. The slogan-writing activity gave students an opportunity to express their comprehension of disaster safety in a concise and impactful manner. Furthermore, the collage-making session enabled students to visually explore emergency symbols, enhancing their recognition and knowledge. Overall, these activities were well-structured to engage participants while promoting awareness and understanding of disaster preparedness.
