BAISAKHI CELEBRATIONS

At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
On Wednesday, 09 April 2025, classes of Foundational stage celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration marked the arrival of spring and was thoughtfully planned to help the young learners understand the significance of this harvest festival.
Children came dressed in colourful traditional Punjabi attire and were full of excitement. They enjoyed dancing to lively beats.
To make the day more engaging, students participated in hands-on activities such as colouring small dhols, creating corn patterns using finger painting, and making colourful pinwheels.
The day ended with cheerful smiles and a strong sense of togetherness.
