Assessment Policy

Scaling Greater Heights....

Our programme is based on active learning, learning by doing, learning by challenging, and stretching in ways that promote growth.

Assessment is the key component of learning as it determines whether the goals of education are being met. It provides timely and informative feedback to students and motivates them towards self-improvement

Classes Nur-II

Embracing the Happiness Curriculum (HPC), the school adopts an innovative approach focusing on emotional well-being, social skills, and self-awareness through experiential and joyful learning. Assessments reflect this philosophy through a Holistic Progress Report Card, highlighting progress in emotional growth, creativity, and interpersonal skills for a comprehensive understanding of development.

Classes III-VIII

Commitment to maintaining high standards of education and evaluation is ensured by strict adherence to the Promotion Policy and Examination & Assessment Guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education (DoE). These policies prioritise transparency, fairness, and consistency in academic processes, aligning practices with guidelines to support holistic development.

*Classes V and VIII

The policy of school mandates meeting minimum academic standards set by the Directorate of Education (DoE) for promotion. Students who do not achieve required learning outcomes in annual assessments are provided with remedial support and an opportunity to improve through re-examination. Failure to meet standards after this opportunity may result in retention in the same class, ensuring foundational knowledge for long-term academic success. Refer to the link provided below for the updated guidelines regarding examinations and promotion criteria for students:

  5. For Class XI, eligibility for appearing in compartment examinations is provided for one failing subject.
