Navratri Activities
Navratri was celebrated in the second week of October month. The spirit of Navratri started with a beautiful Garba dance celebration by preprimary wherein students came in colourful attire and danced to the Garba beats and enjoyed the true essence of Navratri understanding the cultural value and significance of the celebration.
Later, it was followed by a Dussehra class activity wherein students coloured a worksheet of Ravana. Students also understood the significance of Dussehra and portrayed the nine forms of Maa Durga, symbolizing nine different aspects of Mother Divine as Nav Durga. The celebration ended with Ravana Dahan spreading the message of victory of goodness over evil. The celebrations lifted the spirit of Navratri and students enjoyed it thoroughly.
