RIDS Activity Social Science and French Department

Recognition of International Dimension in Schools programme held on Thursday, 22 August 2024, by the Social Science and French departments in the MPH ground floor. This event was a well-curated blend of Indian and French culture and cuisine, offering a remarkable celebration of diversity and international understanding.

The activity was graced by the presence of Shalini Thakur, TGT Social Science from SPSTDSC, and Chhavi Gupta, a freelance French teacher, as our esteemed guests. Their participation added significant value to the event, inspiring both students and staff alike.

The event provided an engaging platform for students to delve into the rich cultural heritage of both nations. Through various displays and activities, students explored the historical and cultural significance of India and France, highlighting the similarities and unique aspects of each.

The culinary section of the event was particularly noteworthy, with students presenting traditional dishes from both Indian and French cuisine. This not only showcased the diverse culinary traditions but also allowed students to appreciate the art and science behind these global flavors.
