SCIENCE FIESTA

Attended the “Science Fiesta” at ASN Senior Secondary School, organised in collaboration with the National Science Centre to mark World Teachers’ Day observed on October 5 every year. The event aimed to inspire students to pursue careers in science and technology. Shri. Pramod Grover, Director of the National Science Centre, highlighted the participation of 20 schools and stressed the importance of science in daily life. The school’s Principal encouraged attendees to explore the science behind various processes and emphasized the need for educators to foster scientific curiosity in students.

The Science Fiesta offered a variety of engaging activities, including science experiments, a quiz show, DIY projects, and a training workshop for Science and Mathematics teachers. The workshop focused on developing innovative teaching-learning materials and promoting creativity in classrooms.

Our student Alina Zaidee of Class 10 won a book titled India in Space as a prize in the quiz competition. Certificates were awarded to all the participants and teachers. It was a successful day of exploration and discovery, fostering a spirit of inquiry among both educators and students.
