MENTAL HEALTH AND CYBER SECURITY
On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India, organised a national online workshop focusing on Mental Health and Cyber Security for students in Classes 6 to 12. This initiative aimed to enhance students’ understanding of critical issues affecting youth today.
The workshop covered essential topics, including stress, anxiety and depression, along with identification and prevention strategies. It also addressed key laws regarding online harassment and cybercrimes, managing privacy on social media and the pressing issue of cyberbullying.
Esteemed speakers, such as Sh. Rajesh Sagar, a leading professor from the Psychiatry Department at AIIMS Delhi, and Ms. Rashmi, DCP of the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre, shared valuable insights into the challenges faced by today’s youth.

Overall, the workshop successfully raised awareness and equipped students with tools to navigate their mental health and online safety effectively.
