FIRE SAFETY WORKSHOP

Salwan Public School, as part of its commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of its staff, organized an insightful Fire Safety Workshop on Saturday, 09 November 2024. The session was conducted by experts Mr. Deepak Nirwal and Mr. Deepak Olla from the Delhi Fire Department.

The workshop aimed to enhance awareness about fire safety measures and emergency protocols among the staff members. Through interactive discussions, the experts shared essential guidelines for preventing fire hazards in workplaces and homes. They emphasized the importance of adhering to safety norms and maintaining functional fire safety equipment.

A highlight of the session was the hands-on demonstration conducted by the resource persons. Staff members were trained on the effective use of fire extinguishers and demonstrated practical techniques such as using wet cotton bed sheets to control small fires. The interactive nature of the session allowed the attendees to clarify their doubts and learn crucial life-saving skills.
