She emphasiSed the need for clearly defined teaching objectives, structured planning, and the use of formative assessments to track student progress. Dr. Mishra gave a detailed analysis on Bloom’s Taxonomy as a key framework to guide the development of learning objectives across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains, with a focus on fostering higher-order thinking skills. The session also referred to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which advocates for a holistic and student-centred approach to education. The session concluded with a group activity led by Ms. Laxmi Prakash, where educators collaborated to identify common classroom challenges and propose effective solutions. Key takeaways from the session included the importance of CBE in connecting academic knowledge with real-world applications, and the value of collaborative problem-solving among educators to enhance teaching effectiveness.

To reinforce the concepts learned earlier, participants recapped Bloom’s Taxonomy by completing a hand-out, ensuring a thorough understanding of the taxonomy. The session progressed with a case study discussion on examination practices in various countries, including the USA, Australia, Malaysia, and others, yielding valuable insights and key points from each group. The final topic of discussion was lab-based learning, where participants engaged in a thought-provoking conversation, exploring its benefits and challenges.

The session concluded with a creative activity, where participants wrote their key takeaways on chart paper and decorated it.
